How to upgrade the HTC One S to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean via AOKP Jelly Bean custom ROM (unofficial)

HTC One S

The HTC One S is one of the devices that have recently joined the list of delectable Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean recipients, although in the form of the AOKP Jelly Bean custom ROM.  AOKP Jelly Bean, just like previous builds of AOKP, bears similarities to the popular CyanogenMod ROM.
AOKP ROMs are known in the development community for being lightning-fast, and one of the best there is when it comes to customization. And, what better way to enjoy the HTC One S by setting up a powerful combination with a Jelly Bean-based AOKP ROM.
The XDA Developers member responsible for building this ROM, klin1344, has not noted any issue or bug, although it is safe to presume that this unofficial ROM inherits whatever bugs and issues that the official AOKP Jelly Bean and the CyanogenMod 10 source code have.
Android 4.1 brings a lot of new features such as a buttery interface and improved Google Search using voice recognition.  Those new features are now available to you via the AOKP Jelly Bean ROM for the HTC One S.
This guide shows you how to upgrade the HTC One S to Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean via AOKP Jelly Bean custom ROM (unofficial).
